Abbas Hamad, better known by his stage name Bas, is an American rapper born in Paris and raised in Queens, New York. After releasing his second project, he signed to J. Cole’s Dreamville Records and Interscope Records. II. Bas was included in Dreamville’s collective project, Revenge of the Dreamers II, nearly two years later. His last album Milky Way, was considered his strongest and most ambitious record. The album’s lead single, ‘Tribe’, featuring J.Cole, certified gold and earned Bas his first plaque. Notably a world-class performer, Bas has brought his sold-out tours across the globe, including back home to Africa.
